About Us

Sandy's Pool Service was founded by Sandy Karshner in the mid-1980s
when she began caring for the pool needs of a friend. Through word of
mouth, Sandy's business began to grow one pool at a time. Soon she found
herself caring for several pools and needed help. Sandy's nephews, Bill
and Matt, were two of her first employees. With dedication to customer
service, the business continued to grow as one of the premier pool service
companies in the Greater Columbus area. In the fall of 2000, Sandy was
ready to retire and the business was passed along to Bill and Matt Low.

Sandy's Pool Service, LLC, (also affectionately known as "SPS") was born
in early 2001. Bill and Matt, along with their wives, brought a combined
fifteen years of pool care experience with them when "SPS" was formed. Bill
and Matt continue to drive the business while keeping customer service and
satisfaction the number one priority.

Sandy's Pool Service, LLC, is a long-time member of the Association of
Pool and Spa Professionals (formally the National Spa and Pool Institute).

Bill Low
Owner, CEO

Bill Low, CEO, was raised just outside of Sunbury, Ohio, with five brothers. Bill serves
as Chief Executive Officer, overseeing all administrative aspects of the business. Bill is
a graduate of Heidelberg College. Currently, he teaches Health and Physical Education
at Bellefontaine High School. He has been employed there since 1994. Bill's wife,
Jennifer, has several years of experience in the swimming pool business and
continues to serve in a vital role with SPS.

Matt Low
Owner, COO

Matt Low, COO, is the youngest of the six Low boys. Matt's first job during the summer
of 1996 was with Sandy's Pool Service. He continued to work for his Aunt Sandy until he
assumed ownership duties in 2001. Matt serves as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing
all field aspects of the company. Matt married Kristy in 1999 and has two sons, Jack
and Jeremiah.

Ryan Weimer
Field Service Supervisor
Certified Pool Operator, National Swimming Pool Foundation

Ryan Weimer has been with Sandy's Pool Service, LLC, since the summer of 2004.
Ryan brings years of management and mechanical experience to the company. Ryan
began servicing pools for family friends in high school and attended Columbus State
Community College, majoring in Auto Technology. Ryan currently oversees all field
service technicians and several other field-related projects.

Kristy Low
Administrative Assistant
Certified Pool Operator, National Swimming Pool Foundation

Kristy graduated in 2001 from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Exercise
Physiology. She worked with MediFit Corporate Services until the summer of 2007
when she was brought into Sandy's Pool Service, LLC, in a full-time capacity. Kristy
serves as support for the CEO, COO, and Field Service Supervisor as administrative
assistant.
